Barclays drops appeal against UK’s Financial Ombudsman Service

Barclays has abandoned its court appeal against Britain's financial ombudsman relating to a hidden motor finance commission ruling.

 

The appeal due to be held between Barclays, trading as Clydesdale, and the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), on the dates of Sept. 16 until 18 is “dismissed upon withdrawal by the Appellant,” and those dates are now "vacated."
